...every weekend isn't a race
Watching races and crawl events on the weekends are a blast, but sometimes you have to scale it back and break bread with the people who do it for the fun of being outdoors. Great Lakes Raptor Enthusiasts Havoc in the Hills, Element Offroad Spring/Winter Thaw, Concrete Pig Offroad Summer Bash, Chaos Offroad Park Winter Wheeling event, and Jeepforum.com TJ Allstars in Moab(*) are just some of the events that I have covered along with watching some builders fabricate their dreams of making a better build. Good times, good food, great people, and mud/snow/rain/rocks...it didn't matter. Fun times were the main point of holding these events.
